The actress had never taken on an important role prior to the US because all of her filmography was in Australia. Jessica's passion for action is showcased in the role that includes mixed martial arts and horseback riding skills as well her strength and agility. Jessica can also pull off her stunts to embody a strong female role model. She is a trained boxer and muay Thai and mixed martial artist. Jake Stormoen, working on Season 4 of the show, met a stray puppy who was wandering around the set. It was discovered that the stray dog belonged to the litter of stray puppies that were on the the set. Jessica took in two of the pups.
