Anna Silk

Anna Silk is Canadian actress that is most well-known in Canada for the role in the film Bo. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay who is producer and director of the drama of drama and production at St. Thomas University, is Silk's mom. Her father, Peter, was an academic. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna can recall some of the first moments in her childhood, like taking part in rehearsals of stage plays. Silk starred in numerous commercials for kids. The year 1997 was the time she earned a bachelor's degree from St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas staged at least 2 early plays: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk was able to move out of Toronto and moved to Los Angeles in the decade following 1999. She met her future husband, Seth Cooperman, at an acting workshop located in Los Angeles in 2007. They were engaged the year 2009 and wed in a civil ceremony in December of the same year. Following her conversion to Judaism the couple were married again in a Jewish ceremony on 10 April 2011. The ceremony was held in Fredericton. Silk was blessed with a son named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13th 2013. Levi Aaron is her second son, born on the 13th May, 2016. Silk's TV work includes her role in Being Erica as Cassidy Holland for which she won an Gemini Awards nod in 2009. In 2009, she was cast in the principal character role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television series Lost Girl. Silk revealed to her followers that she was pregnant in January 2013 during a Showcase Season Three Special. On June 4, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced that production was beginning on the fourth season. On June 20 2013 Silk posted on Twitter that she was ready to the series. CNN's Cable News Network named her portrayal of Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Parker) in Lost Girl as same-sex couples as one of their most-loved television Couples. E! named them the Top Television Couple in 2013. Entertainment Television. As a result of the popularity of the show, Silk has garnered a prominent online following on social media.
